10/22/20 - UPDATE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT... I am pleased to inform you that the number of students and staff in quarantine due to COVID19 is going down. As of this afternoon we have seen a reduction of quarantine students and staff from 99 earlier in the week to today's 56. We will continue to work with the Highland County Health Department and to monitor any new cases and subsequent quarantines. All Fairfield Local Schools will be open as normal on Monday October 26.
I want to remind everyone that Highland County is now under a “red” designation on the Ohio Public Health Advisory system from the Ohio Department of Health. The one thing we can all do to help keep our schools open is to follow the Ohio Department of Health and the Highland County Department of Health recommendation that we all wear face coverings in all public venues and businesses and keep our 6 feet separation.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we maneuver through these trying times. Have a great weekend!
